Army National Guard aircraft strikes deer at St. Augustine airport

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Nov. 8, 2012) – A Florida Army National Guard C-12 Huron airplane struck a deer while it was landing on the runway at St. Augustine airport last night.

There were no injuries to anyone on board the plane. The plane received minor damage.

An investigation of the incident is in progress by the Florida National Guard.
