ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Feb. 3, 2012) – Three Florida high school football teams were honored this week by Florida Army National Guard recruiters for their commitment to excellence and outstanding seasons.

The 7th Annual MaxPreps Football Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard visited Manatee High School in Bradenton, Armwood High School in Seffner, and Miami Norland Senior High School in South Florida.

The teams finished 8th, 9th and 19th respectively out of 16,000 high school football teams in the nation in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings poll, and are three of only 50 being recognized by the Army National Guard.

At each school Florida Army National Guard recruiters presented the team and their coach a “Minuteman” Army National Guard ranking trophy and championship rafter banners to be hung in the school.
