- Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI): The Agency for Workforce Innovation is Florida’s lead state workforce agency and directly administers the state’s Labor Market Statistics program, Unemployment Compensation, Early Learning and various workforce development programs.
- Employ Florida Vets: The Employ Florida Marketplace web site is designed to assist job seekers and students of all ages in search for the right job, and to help employers identify the best job candidates. The site serves as a hub for the state’s workforce services while focusing on job openings and job candidates. The site is also a valuable resource for policy makers, researchers, and others seeking to explore and analyze local labor markets in Florida.

- Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve: Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense (DoD) organization established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve component members and their civilian employers, and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee’s military commitment. Today, ESGR operates through a network of thousands of volunteers throughout the nation and Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

- Yellow Ribbon Program: The Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) is a DoD-wide effort to help National Guard and Reserve Service members and their families connect with local resources before, during, and after deployments, especially during the reintegration phase that occurs months after Service members return home. Commanders and leaders play a critical role in assuring that Reserve Service members and their families attend Yellow Ribbon events where they can access information on health care, education/training opportunities, financial, and legal benefits.

- WorkNet of Pinellas Job Fair: The next WorkNet Wednesday is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Pinellas Technical Education Centers South County location, 901 34th Street S., St. Petersburg, Fla., 33711. In honor of our veterans, the first hour is dedicated to veterans only.
